Payroll aggregates assignment payouts into payroll records for a specific period. Payroll records move through statuses like draft, pending, approved, and paid.
Where to find payroll
Sidebar → Payroll (/workspaces/:id/payroll)
Payroll record statuses
- draft: generated but not ready for approval
- pending: ready to review
- approved: confirmed for payout
- paid: payout completed
Troubleshooting
An approved assignment is missing from payroll
Confirm the assignment is approved and that the payroll period includes the assignment's relevant dates for aggregation.
I can't see Payroll in the sidebar
Payroll may be disabled. Go to Sidebar → Settings (/workspaces/:id/settings) and enable it under Features.
