Set Up the Lucenero Discord Bot

The bot connects a Discord server (guild) to a Lucenero workspace so you can automate messages and workflows.

Open bot settings

Go to Sidebar → Bot (/workspaces/:id/bot).

1) Invite the bot to your Discord server

1. On the Bot page, click Invite Bot to Server.
2. Complete the Discord authorization flow and select your server.

2) Generate a link code

1. On the Bot page, click Generate Link Code.
2. Copy the code (it expires).

3) Pair your Discord server to the workspace

In your Discord server, run the slash command:

/setup code:<code>

This pairs the server to your workspace using the generated link code.

User linking (optional)

Lucenero also supports a user linking slash command:

/link

This flow is used for linking by email (as supported by the bot's command set).

Troubleshooting

Link code expired

Generate a new link code from Sidebar → Bot and run /setup again.

Bot can't post messages

Ensure the bot has permission to view and send messages in the target channel.
