A board is a container inside your workspace that organizes documents, board-scoped canvas items, and collaboration access.
Where to find boards
Boards appear in the sidebar as a collapsible list. Click a board to open it:
/workspaces/:id/boards/:bid
Board permissions (exact flow)
- In the sidebar, right-click a board.
- Select Permissions.
- Use the permissions dialog to control access (members/roles/visibility/inheritance).
Visibility options (high-level)
- Members/roles: restrict access to a set of workspace members or roles.
- Open: makes the board publicly accessible (see the public sharing article).
- Inheritance: optionally inherit permissions from the parent board/workspace rules.
